Note: All surf trips are weather dependent and it is best to book charters ahead of time. With 5 days notice it is quite easy to forecast a favourable weather pattern for your group….guaranteeing good waves and the most bang for your buck. The more flexible you are with your timing the better your chance of hitting epic surf. Plenty of fun activities on the odd down day including; fishing, beachcombing, and wake surfing.

Skana Surf Adventures is about the pursuit of tailored experiences along the shores of the exposed west coast. We specialize in surfing charters to local and largely unexplored shore and reef breaks. Suited for novice to expert surfers, these breaks are only accessible to a very few, and mastery awaits those who get a chance to surf these waters. We are committed to keeping the number of visitors to a minimum to preserve the relative isolation of these locations and maintain the “aloha spirit”.

 

The Breaks:

We can surf up to 12 different spots depending on local conditions and the surfing ability of the group. With excellent forecasting and experienced wave knowledge, we pride ourselves on “getting it right.”

 

You can look forward to :

» Beach break set-ups with 30-40 yd plunging lefts and rights

» Blissful sand bottom A-frames and challenging reef breaks,

» Modified point break set-ups,

» big wave and small waves,

» South aspect swells, westerly swells,

» winter set-ups or long period summer swells.

 

On any given day there are new waves and wedges to be ridden, spectacular backdrops and no drop-ins!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rates:

 

1) $125/person for a full day of surfing maximum of 6 people minimum charge of $575 – Full offshore experience– Weather dependent – Early morning departure. A morning and afternoon session are possible depending on wind and weather. 3 hour charters for $75/person and includes 2 hours of water time minimum charge of $350.

 

2) Surf Drop off/Pick-up available to unnamed spots – from $350 for return trip. Enjoy a day or a weekend on a remote beach. Excellent for the group with varied interests. Arrange pick-up when you want by cellular phone. Prepare to get wet on pick-up/drop offs. Wetsuits required for each guest.
