Okay…..so you’ve read all about it and you still don’t want to go through with the pain and suffering portion. There was a handbook published called “Blisters and Bliss”. There is a reason for this and a reason for not walking that blasphemous route!! Yes it is a lifesaving trail and if your life depended on it, it may or may not be worth doing. Regardless, you don’t have this question to ponder, so travel in relative comfort, and enjoy the sights and sounds without the pain and suffering. View Brown Pelicans and the odd offshore seabird---. whales, sea lions and porpoises too. See all the sites of wrecks and the history of the “Graveyard of the Pacific” the lifesaving trail and more.

 

Cross Tsusiat Falls and the lighthouses off your list. View the ancient forests and unfortunate clear cuts that are also part of the scenery. Snorkel or Fish on the way…pickup a crab trap, wake surf or better yet go surfing. It will make you a better person and me a very happy guide!

 

 

Rates:

This is a weather dependent trip and usually an early morning departure is suggested, with a noon return time. $115/person minimum charge of $475 for a natural history tour of the West Coast Trail. Includes lunch and drinks and dropping a line if you are keen to fish. One stop available for the young and nimble if you want to get to shore and view the big breakers and lighthouse from shore. Approximately 5 hours.
