Humpbacks, Grey Whales and Orcas frequent the waters of Barclay Sound and are a true marvel any time you get the chance to see them.  Given fairly short notice whales can be located if weather conditions permit.  I believe in keeping our governed distances from the whales so do not ask to get closer.  My only rule…… pretty much.

 

Summer months are best for Humpbacks, Spring for Gray whales and Orcas are transient wanderers that show up inshore or offshore throughout the year looking for a tasty morcel of seal, seal lion, or porpoise.

 

Sea Lions are a thrilling sight from the boat where you can view from the elevated flybridge and watch the curious males jostling for their favorite bathing spots.  Launching their 1 tonne bodies in to the surf, barking and  rolling in the foamy wave battered waters.

 

Rates:  3 hour tour is $99/person minimum $300 charge

           Children under 12 are half price
